The University of Cyprus, Department of Physics, (www.ucy.ac.cy) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position for the research programme «Study of nuclear matter in extreme conditions of high temperatures and high baryonic densities» of the HADES Collaboration at the Heavy ton Collision Research Centre «GSI», Darmstadt, Germany.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate wili conduct activities within the framework of the research programme «Study of nuclear matter in extreme conditions of high temperatures and high baryonic densities» of the HADES Collaboration at the Heavy Ion Collision Research Centre «GSI», Darmstadt, Germany (http://www-hades.gsi.de/). In particular, the Postdoctoral Researcher will participate in the experiments and will analyze experimental data.

The successful candidate will also participate in other research and teaching activities of the Nuclear Physics Laboratory of the University of Cyprus (http://www-np.ucy.ac.cy/).
