Typical Output & Tasks:
- Preparation: study, interpret and discus projects regarding functionality and the software (and electro) technical capabilities.
- Design and implement software on the base of industrial controllers (PLC) for refrigeration applications.
- Advise customers regarding software (and electro) engineering.
- Support implementation and commissioning of refrigeration applications on site.
- Upgrade old refrigeration control systems.
- Share best practices with colleagues to improve new projects.
The Candidate’s Profile:
- Bachelor degree (or an equal level by experience) in Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of or experience in reading construction drawings and electro (and refrigeration) technical diagrams.
- Good English language skills are required; French is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Preferred but not mandatory:
- Software experience in Siemens and/or Allen Bradley.
- (Basic) experience in refrigeration technology.
- Knowledge of or experience in visualization software (SCADA).
- Knowledge of basic regulations principles for industrial refrigeration and components (industrial compressors, air coolers, condensers).
