The production sites of company are located in Europe – in Germany and Slovakia; the company also has an office in Vienna (Austria).

To strengthen the engineering team of this company, responsible for the production of industrial lines and also for their start-up installations on-site (worldwide), we are searching for candidates for the position:

START-UP ENGINEER (m/f)

System Start-Up Operations / Installations

Job profile:

• Preparing and administering the technical documentation
• Ensuring that all start-up work is performed in a faultless, efficient manner, analyzing malfunctions and defining remedial actions
• Coordinating the start-up schedule with the project team of the company and with clients teams, co-operating with sub-suppliers
• Start-up advisory for clients, on-site training, co-ordination of warranties
• Ensuring line safety during start-ups
• Checking the visualization and control software

Requirements:

• University education in a technical field (machinery, electro technics, mechatronics) or secondary technical education with several years of experience in this area
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably with production-lines start-up (automated control systems)
• Experience with freely programmable logic control systems (SIMATIC S7) and command of a programming language (preferably «C») are a plus
• Very good command of English language
• Willingness to travel a lot abroad and to work in multicultural environments (installations are mainly in South-East Asia)
• Employment contract possible in Austria, Germany or Slovakia
