Job Title:  Optician (qualified)

Location:  Westgate on Sea, Margate, Isle of Thanet, Kent, UK

Hours:  40 hours per week between Monday and Saturday, between 9am – 5pm

Duration:  Permanent

Salary:  £26,000 per annum, gross

Details:  Must be a qualified Optician. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Duties will include all aspects of eye testing. The team will assist you in your optometric duties, including completion of the pre-screening refraction, together with keratometry and field screening. Within your consulting room you will discover state of the art equipment and paperless records. As an Optometrist you will be responsible for comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens assessments, aftercare and assisting the team to ensure the practice operates smoothly. The ideal testing time will be 20 minutes however this may be amended if more recently qualified. Understanding OCT would be helpful.
