Team/division description:

The Safety & Health department has a mission statement of creating awareness and giving support, guidance and correct advice to enable employees and on-site contractors to achieve and maintain a Safe and Healthy environment. The Safety & Health department has responsibilities in Head Office (Evere), Technical Centre (Zaventem), Toyota Parts Centre Europe (Diest) and the hub in Zeebrugge.

Your project:

In order to have an overview of all the hazards and risks present on site, safety & health plans to create a general risk assessment based on analysing the existing information and identifying the gaps. This implies an update in function of location and hazard. The scope of the project consists of a study of the relevant legislation and best practices establish the risk assessment by location / hazard via a participative method evaluate the risks and the risk factors assess with relevant stakeholders and hierarchical line management propose systems to establish the check-act phase and follow up

You will be supported by the Safety & Health department to realise your project.

Your profile:

  • Postgraduate of Prevention Advisor Level 1 (or 2), Master of Safety Engineering, or Industrial Engineer with specialisation Prevention Advisor Level 1 (or 2)
  • Basic knowledge of safety management systems, safety of products, processes and installations, Qualitative risk analysis, and fire and explosion safety
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to communicate in an open and professional way
  • Proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of Windows and MS Office tools

Toyota Motor Europe Head Office (Evere) and Technical Centre (Zaventem), Belgium
