Description
IT Change Management Specialist (ITCM) is responsible for managing the IT Change Management process in accordance with the OPAP IT operational model based on ITIL best practices. The ITCM Specialist is responsible for coordinating the processes for all changes impacting the OPAP IT estate (infrastructure, applications and operations) across the current and future enterprise business lines (e.g. lottery, betting, VLTs etc.) as well as other internal systems (e.g. CRM, ERP, portals, corporate applications etc.).
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- ITCM Specialist reviews all outstanding Request for Changes and liaises with the Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) for all business lines to identify the impact of in-flight and pipeline changes stemming from needs expressed by the OPAP business
- Works closely with IT Architects to ensure that the proposed change solutions comply with architecture principles, design and roadmap
- Provides solution architecture guidance to the SDMs following IT Architects’ directions
- Monitors and maintains the change portfolio, providing feedback to the IT Architects
- Liaises with all necessary parties to coordinate change design, implementation and testing, in accordance with schedules
- Escalates risks and issues to the Head of IT Planning Department
- Manages and coordinates the change management process activities with external suppliers according to approved SLAs
- Monitors and controls the lifecycle of Implementing Projects across multiple business lines and third party vendors
- Secures the alignment between the vendors/outsourcing partners and internal team as well as prepares Change Management reports (KPIs and SLAs ) on monthly and weekly basis
- Assists the head of IT Planning in driving ITIL process standardization
- Receives all requests and set priorities accordingly, as well as issues the agenda for the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings or Emergency CAB meetings
- Analyses change records to determine any innovative techniques
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant field. Postgraduate Degree will be preferable
- 2+ years experience in Change/Incident/Problem Management and also 1+ year as a solution architect
- Experience in Incident/Problem/Change Management frameworks such as ITIL v3
- Excellent use of Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Flexible, adaptable, methodological approach to problem solving
- Structured and analytical way of thinking is a must
- Strong organizational and planning skills to deal with a variety of projects
- Self-driven and resourceful to achieve targets on his own initiative as well as part of a team
- Manage to work within strict timeframes
- Proven communication skills
- Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
