IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager(κωδ.1424) Based at the company’s Headquarters in Athens, Greece

Main duties and responsibilities:

•    Directly reports to IT Director.
•    The main responsibilities include management of IT core services, supporting infrastructure and daily operations for the Greek Region and Group Corporate Center, located in Athens HQs.
•    The individual will work closely with the IT management team and business functions to ensure alignment of technologies and services with company objectives. The ideal candidate must have both leadership and hands-on technical experience to effectively and efficiently manage IT Infrastructure technologies and personnel.
•    Defines technology vision, develops and implements a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to attain it with information technology solutions, local and corporate-wide.
•    Operates and retains a professional Service Desk as single point of contact for all requests and incidents
•    Responsible for developing and delivering training services to end-users.
•    Responsible for evaluating emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, developing, documenting, making recommendations and proposals, and communicating plans for IT investments.
•    Sets objectives and manages staff development to keep motivation level high and ensures availability of capabilities required. Coordinates day-to-day operations and team efforts to ensure operational efficiency.

Candidate profile:

•    B.Sc. in Software Engineering or Computer Science; an advanced degree will be considered a plus.
•    15+ years of experience in IT architecture, data centers, systems engineering, network engineering, telecoms, information security, IT Service Management, shared services, virtualization technologies & cloud options.
•    8+ years of experience in managing and leading IT operational teams.
•    Proven, hands on experience in Microsoft and Cisco technologies.
•    Expertise in Enterprise Systems Management solutions.
•    Good understanding of SAP solutions (ERP, BW, BI, etc) landscapes and technical infrastructure.
•    Strong business and technical vision with experience in setting up strategies, roadmaps, and budgets.
•    Strong relationship building and communication skills.
•    Strong commercial background and supplier management skills.
•    Effective leadership, management and resource tracking skills.
•    Ability to multi-task and react positively to frequent changes in priorities.
•    Expertise in Office suite, including MS Visio & MS Project.
•    Greek native speaker with excellent knowledge of English language.
•    Microsoft (MCSE), Cisco (CCNA,CCDA,CCNP), Security (CISSP) certifications. (desirable)
•    ITIL certifications. (desirable)
•    Military Service fulfilled (if applicable)
