Energy Analyst από την TITAN

We are looking for an intellectually curious, ambitious, collaborative and open minded individual with a solid academic record, who is determined and excited about exploring new ideas with persistence and passion.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Follows Energy market developments closely, gathers, compiles and analyses Market and Statistical Data and prepares reports
  • Works closely with TITAN’s Business Units (BUs) to communicate findings, make recommendations in cooperation with the Procurement Director and the Group’s Electrical Energy Strategist, and secure buying-in from relevant stakeholders for prompt implementation
  • Develops and maintains information for each of TITAN’s BUs regarding the purchasing, consumption and cost of electrical energy
  • Assists the Group’s Electrical Energy Strategist in:
    o   Preparing the electrical energy tender documents, proposing the list of suppliers to be included in the tender process, circulating the tender documents, collecting offers and creating a comparison table of submitted bids
    o   Initiating discussions with market players and suppliers about new ideas that add value to the Group regarding energy purchasing (e.g. contract structure, flexibility, terms)
    o   Creating and following up on a Benchmarking system comparing the performance of Group Procurement versus the Market and the Group’s main competitors.

Education and experience

  • B.Sc. in Engineering (all disciplines welcome)
  • Post-graduate studies in Management (e.g. MBA) from a reputable university is a plus
  • Studies and/or working experience (up to 4 years) abroad is desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Greek
  • High level proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of EU Legislation on Renewable Energy Sources, the 20-20-20 targets and Carbon Trading – EU ETS (Desirable, but not needed)
  • Understanding of the Energy Market in Greece and South Eastern Europe (Desirable, but not needed)

  • Ability to champion change and challenge the status-quo, while building commitment and support among senior managers & peers
  • Solid research and analytical skills with great attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility for initiatives, and ability & desire to become known as a ‘hands-on’ person
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and inadequate information
  • Ability to effectively present information for audiences with varying degrees of expertise
