Critical Publics, a dynamic fast-paced Strategic Communications Consultancy, is seeking a talented Communications Officer to join its team of seasoned professionals at its Athens office.

About the Job position:

A self-motivated, driven communicator, you will be expected to engage stakeholders at all levels through your written output for a wide range of clients from the FMCG, Pharma, Telecoms, Energy and many other sectors.

Main duties:

§         Content development in English & Greek: communications collateral, messaging formulation, proposal development, speech writing, translations, reporting

Input will be sought in:

§         Intelligence distillation: drawing on different sources, evaluating, correlating and analyzing data, information, and positionalities

§         Strategy formulation: translating relevant information and insights into actionable, well-articulated communications plans

Essential qualifications:

§         Native-levelknowledge of English & Greek

§         Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English &  Greek

§         Postgraduate studies in a relevant field (including fields related to clients’ activities)

§         A minimum of 2-3 years working experience

§         Sharp understanding of the political, economic and social environment in Greece

§         Ability to think critically, creatively and generate ideas

§         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure

§         Highly-developed networking and relationship-building skills

§         Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Desired qualifications:

§         Keen interest in international affairs

§         Well-developed business acumen

§         Effective project management skills

This post will be reporting to the Communications Director, the Intelligence Director and the Managing Director. Expected start date is 1 January 2013.
