Commodities buyer

The role involves in buying commodities such as fresh/frozen meat and fish, dry foods and foodstuff of Greek origin. Maintenance of relations with Greek suppliers as well as constant follow up of the market is part of the daily operation. Good organizational skills for developing and optimizing buying procedures with proven experience and team playing are making the difference in this position.

The right candidate should have:

• An economics, marketing or business administration degree
• Results focus and commercial spirit.
• 2-4 years experience in commodities markets, preferably in a trading or operations function
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; strong analytical abilities as well as an exceptional sensitivity to detail are necessary.
• Driving license and car
• Fluency in English. Additional languages are considered a plus
• Age no more than 30 years old

The role entails more than 20% of time travelling
