For our Pick Up and Order Point (PuOP store) in Chania-Crete we are looking for:

PuOP Manager

                                               (ref: CPuOP_0417)

 Reporting to the Commercial Support Areas Coordinator, who is based in Athens Airport Store, you will be responsible and accountable to:

  • Ensure the best possible customer service having customers in focus as your first priority
  • Implement all the agreed actions set in order to improve the Brand capital, the IKEA Customer Satisfaction Survey & the 4 axes (Safety-Meritocracy-Respect-Development) indices of the Employee Insight Survey
  • Maximize sales, establishing IKEA as the leading Home Furnishings place to shop
  • Act as the company’s local representative towards third parties (i.e. banks) & other public companies (i.e. utilities)
  • Ensure that all company, legal and health & safety guidelines are followed in all areas of responsibility and at all times
  • Closely monitor and manage all operating costs and P&L elements related to the areas of responsibility
  • Select, develop and maintain a motivated team capable of achieving the agreed objectives

  You have

  • At least 3 years working experience in Sales or Customer Service, as head of a department with at least 5 subordinates, preferably in the retail sector
  • Commercial Thinking & Customer Focus
  • Good people management skills
  • Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem solving skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Very good communication skills and team oriented personality
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • University Degree ( an MBA or MSc will be considered as an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Ms Office
  • Very Good command of the Greek & English language (verbal & written)
