Δηλώσεις συμμετοχής μέχρι 6 Ιουνίου συμπληρώνοντας τη νέα αίτηση συμμετοχής (θα πρέπει να είστε εγγεγραμένοι και συνδεδεμένοι στο site), αφού διαβάσετε και τον Οδηγό Ευρωπαϊκών Προγραμμάτων του Youthnet Hellas και ενημερωθείτε για τα προγράμματα αυτά, τους όρους και τις υποχρεώσεις που απορρέουν.

European Identity is ambiguous. Seen from outside Europe appears as a unit rather than from the inside.

The «Europeans» feel to be a plurality of nations, languages and cultural traditions, each with its own self understanding. For the formation of a collective identity, for the development of a mandatory «we-feeling» there is a need (apparently) of reference objects such as people, values or the instititionalization of fine ideas, e.g. a «common» memory. What does this mean for the «European project», the concept of «European citizenship» or even a so-called «European identity»? So then it needs «the same memories», or at least «similar memories»? Or is this identity generated from the boundary, the differences? The main part of the project is the sustantive work and accompanying workshops on «national memories in the context of European identity». Using the central statement «It does not matter whether a society is aware if its history, but now it’s done» we will work on questions such as:

– How do we remember?
– What do societies remember?
– Who defines or determines what to remember?
– To whom this memory is addressed?
– And for what purpose we do remember?
– How is memory staged? What is the role of literature and public spaces?
– In other words, how is the past represented in the socio-political context?
