Design Engineer / Mechatronics

The Job:

As design/mechatronics engineer you are the driving force behind the digital design of (parts) constructions of machines and devices in the high tech industry. You deliver your knowledge from your specific area of expertise. On top of that you are responsible for the contact with the clients. In this position you work together in a team with other designers.

Your tasks:

•        Creating specifications of parts and review these with the customer.
•        Designing, implementing, testing and documenting of mechatronic constructions and (parts of) equipment.
•        Participate in a project team, for example in reviews and meetings with customers.
•        Assist with the commissioning of the designed products.
•        Create and guard the schedule.
•        You work in a team with other designers.
•        Work can be done at the headquarter or at the customers site.
•        Keeping in contact with existing customers and expand the client base.
•        You are up to date concerning the innovations in your area of expertise, will the goal to adequately use this during the consultation.
•        Beschikking over meest recente kennis op het eigen vakgebied, teneinde deze op adequate wijze toe te passen in de advisering.
•        Transferring knowledge to other team members.

Requirements:

•        Higher technical education in mechanicall engineer or mechatronics, with 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a high tech environment.
•        Experience with Unigraphics NX is a plus.
•        Willing to take additional courses.
•        Good communicative en social skills.
•        Customer focussed and commercial.
•        A good sense of feasibility
•        Excellent knowledge of the English language, Dutch is a plus.
•        Good verbal and written skills.
