A multinational company in the region of Thessaloniki is seeking for a professional to cover the position of:

TRANSLATOR / INTERPRETER  

Indicative duties:

–          Provides written translation services in Greek/English for company-specific needs. (i.e. written information related to legal, technical and financial matters).

–          Provides complex, correct and responsible technical and non-technical oral interpretation.

–          Attends a wide variety of meetings, board of directors meetings, for the purpose of serving as an interpreter of conversations to participants.

–          Reads and prepares a wide variety of documents (i.e. forms, procedures, handbooks, correspondence) for the purpose of providing/translating materials in Greek and/or English.

Position Requirements:

–          University degree in Foreign Languages, and/or Translation and/or Interpreting and/or Linguistics.

–          Master’s degree or other academic/professional qualification in Translation, Linguistics and Interpretation will be considered a plus.

–          At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in translation.

–          Flawless command (written/verbal) of the Greek and English language.

–          Exceptional communication skills.

–          Computer and Systems Literate: MS Office & Translation Software.

 –         Membership in professional association(s) will be considered an asset.
